The Institute of Law and Health in Developing Countries (ILHDC) supports and strengthens the increasing capability of the African legal community to independently engage the complex business and health challenges of their community.

To rise to these challenges and meet new opportunities, the ILHDC facilitates legal workshops between African and US attorneys in the areas of corporate, financial and health law.

We believe that through these workshops the African and US legal communities can build a partnership to exchange ideas and best practices for an emerging African legal profession’s role as an active player on the global economic and development stage.
